Do you already use ginger, matcha, kale and kombucha in your diet? If you don’t, now it is time to start! Read what our guest blogger Jessica Sparkes from EmergencyDentistsUSA.com writes about inflammation and how to get rid of it.
Inflammation comes in many forms. Unfortunately, it sometimes occurs when you least expect it. An inflammation itself is not the problem, but a reaction to some other problem. Or it can be a result of some other condition. Normally, anti-inflammatory drugs are prescribed as well as pain killers or muscle relaxants.
Besides prescription medicines, there are other remedies available to anyone with acute or chronic pain including arthritis. Of course, some of these remedies are also good for the occasional hangover. These are not pain relievers per se, rather they are drinks that you can prepare using ingredients that are readily available in the market. These everyday drinks that fight inflammation really work and are quite easy to make.
Whether you call them hangover cures, or anti-inflammatory drinks, some of the most common ingredients include tea, ginger, kale, or turmeric. They are traditional food ingredients from ancient Chinese and Hindu cultures, beloved for their flavors and health benefits. They retain their popularity today and you can integrate their flavors and healing benefits in smoothies and other beverages.
Admittedly, pureeing kale or arugula is not something that sounds great, nor does it look enticing. However, it does work better than most other anti-inflammatory drugs. It can also be an enjoyable drink if you are into that kind of thing. Making these foods and drink gets to be a habit at some point and can help with cooling down after a strenuous workout.
